„Hogyan éljünk együtt?” A mindennapok bölcseleti fogalmakban Egyre kevésbé tudunk a közösben, közösségben gondolkodni.
" A 68. adás vendége Kudász Gábor Arion fotográfus, oktató, a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem docense.

Most viszont (kb. huszadszorra, de kit érdekel?) végre lehull a lepel! Vancsó Zoltán fotográfus ingyenes online előadásában betekintést nyerhetünk legújabb slideshow-jába – ami történetesen már a 379. a sorban. Képekről, jelentésrétegekről, az átgondolt sorrend erejéről, áttűnésekről, zenéről, címadásról – azaz a gazdag alkotói folyamat összes apró részletéről szó lesz, ami egyetlen 5 perces alkotás mögött rejlik. Pollinators, especially bees, are essential to life on Earth. They enable the pollination of countless crops—fruits, vegetables, nuts, and more—directly supporting the food we rely on every day. Beyond agriculture, pollinators sustain ecosystems, preserve biodiversity, and play a crucial role in helping nature adapt to climate change. Protecting them means safeguarding the very foundation of our environment and future. To celebrate World Bee Day on 20 May 2025, we invite you to participate in a photography contest under the theme: “BEE INSPIRED BY NATURE TO NOURISH US ALL” This contest highlights the invaluable connections between pollinators, ecosystems, and food systems, raising awareness on the importance of protecting bees and their habitats. Whether it’s a close-up of bees or other pollinators at work, vibrant flowers they pollinate, communities preserving their habitats, or the rich harvests their efforts make possible—capture these moments through your lens. Pollinators are vital to achieving a sustainable future. By safeguarding them, we support food security, rural livelihoods, climate resilience, and biodiversity—key pillars of global sustainability goals. Nature itself provides a model for balance and resilience: agroforestry, crop diversification, and other nature-inspired practices create thriving habitats for pollinators, enhancing productivity while protecting the environment. Indigenous Peoples communities play a crucial role in this effort. Their knowledge and sustainable practices reflect a deep harmony between agriculture and nature, offering invaluable lessons for protecting pollinators and preserving biodiversity. The Contest includes three categories: General Public: Entrants aged 18 years and above Empowering Rural Women: Open to entrants of all ages. Focuses on the role of rural women in sustainable beekeeping and pollinators protection. Indigenous Peoples’s Food and Knowledge Systems: Open to entrants of all ages. Highlights the contributions of Indigenous Peoples to conservation and sustainable use of pollinators (including beekeeping with indigenous bees, Indigenous Peoples’ cosmogonies related to bees and other pollinators, Indigenous Peoples’ diverse uses of bee related products...) The best photos will be displayed during the World Bee Day exhibition, recognizing not only the beauty of pollinators but their vital role in sustaining our planet. Together, let’s celebrate pollinators and inspire action to protect these unsung heroes of our ecosystems, ensuring their survival for generations to come. Prizes: Prizes and Recognition The five winning images will be announced on 20 May 2025 and showcased across FAO’s official social media channels. Winning photos will also be featured in a dedicated photography exhibition at the 2nd International Forum for Action on Sustainable Beekeeping and Pollination in Ethiopia. Winners will receive a certificate of recognition signed by FAO and a special collection of FAO merchandise including a backpack, water bottle and notebook. Eligibility: Eligibility The photographs should not have been taken before 1 January 2018 Photographs should not have dates or text on top of the image. Each participant can send up to three photographs. All photographs should be in jpeg format. Participants must fill out an online form indicating: Name, surname, date of birth, email, title and description of photograph, location and date when photo was taken. Participants must also accept the legal conditions described in the terms and conditions. When focusing on beekeeping, the practices depicted in each submission should be in line with FAO’s good beekeeping practices for sustainable apiculture Format File size: Minimum pixel width 3000 pixels at 150 ppi; maximum file size 5 MB. Image data files should be created with digital smartphones and still cameras (including medium and large-format cameras). This call invites submissions that consider AI technologies as the most recent addition to the world of alternative processes, and works that explore the connections between AI, camerawork, analogue technologies and visual storytelling, whether while capturing images or printing them. The selected works will be featured in a virtual exhibition on LACP’s website, and selected works will be featured in an in-person exhibition that will open at our DTLA gallery on June 11, 2025. Technological developments hasten pronouncements regarding the death of photography every few decades, with the most recent trigger being digital innovations, such as digital cameras and image editing software. And yet, photography persists. In fact, it continues to re-define how we engage with one another, imagine ourselves and our position in the world. Most recently, AI caused an uproar among visual practitioners, as machines have been trained to create images using images produced by humans who were not paid for services unknowingly provided. For centuries now, the close relationship between art and science has offered new prospects in exploring and understanding reality through a dialogue that combines the observation, analysis, reflection and expression of human experiences, a dialogue that promotes new creative and experimental approaches to the investigative processes. In the era of technical reproducibility, the use of photographic become a fundamental practice in the development of artistic practices: starting from the Dadaist experiences, throughout the pop art period all the way to the contemporary artistic phenomenology, we have important testimony that confirm an increasingly closer link between art, technology and science. An important shift in the field of research has occurred with the advent of photography, as with it the approach to scientific , historical, geographical and anthropological documentation has changed, elaborate systematic methods of cataloging have been developed, and these contribute to the creation of new visual and informative aesthetics by which contemporary artists are influenced. This call will bring together works that express an interest in observation, documentation, data collection and representation, and expression of aesthetic harmony that stimulates curiosity for science. Audubon Community Nature Center's 2025 Nature Photography Contest gives photographers – young and old, amateur and professional – an opportunity to communicate our shared passion so others may be inspired to become stewards of the natural world. This year's categories of Birds, Waterscapes, and Single Blooms are destined to inspire: Birds because they are incredible creatures that come in a wide variety of shapes, colors, and sizes; Waterscapes because from large expansive oceans, to rocky stream beds, rushing rivers, and lovely lakes, the earth is full of amazing views that include water; and Single Blooms because flowers are so incredibly delicate and detailed. Join us to share the beauty you have found in nature and to receive recognition for your work! Judges will choose a Youth (ages 8 to 18) and an Adult (age 19 and older) winner in the categories of Birds, Waterscapes and Single Blooms. Each of those six winners will receive a $200 cash prize. Three Youth and three Adult Finalists will also be named in each category. Additional $200 cash prizes will be awarded to the Adult and Youth photos receiving the most Community Choice votes online, and three each will receive honorable mentions.
