ÁRVA - A történelem torkában | Barakonyi Szabolcs kurátori tárlatvezetése Archív
28 Feb 2026

Az Árva Budapesten játszódik 1957-ben. Főszereplője egy 12 éves fiú, Hirsch Andor. A második világháború utolsó évében született, apja eltűnt a háborúban, anyja egyedül neveli. A kiállítás nyomozásra hívja a látogatókat. A képekből, szövegekből felfejthetővé válnak az alkotói szándékok, érezhető az ötvenes évek szűk levegője, megközelíthető a családtörténet. A néző beléphet az Árva egyik ikonikus helyszínére és bepillantást kaphat abba is, hogyan születnek meg egy film képei. kurátor: Barakonyi Szabolcs Programjegy: 4.000 Ft Megvásárolható a helyszínen vagy elővételben online A programra egyéb múzeumi belépőjegy kedvezmény ezen a napon nem vehető igénybe. https://www.facebook.com/events/1597866444678261/

“Baroque Brutal” Hamarits Zsolt és Steiner Villő kiállítása Archív
26 Feb 2026

Hamarits Zsolt „Ez a kiállítás jelentős pillanat mind a fotográfia, mind a képzőművészet történetében.

23 Feb 2026

UPCOMING PRINT EDITION: PHOTOGRAPHER SELECTION Our physical edition is a solid tool to present your work to the world. Although it adopts the format of a magazine, it is conceived as an artistic and curatorial volume, designed to endure and to place each project in the context it deserves. This approach allows the work to move beyond fleeting consumption, enabling it to circulate, travel, and be discovered in spaces where contemporary photography is examined and valued in depth. Each edition reaches curators, festival directors, galleries, and editors who are actively seeking new voices. Being selected means entering this professional circuit and positioning your work within a framework of international visibility and editorial credibility. The selection is not based solely on formal criteria, but on each project’s ability to contribute a distinctive and relevant perspective to today’s visual conversation. For this reason, becoming part of this edition means that the work does not end with print, but begins a real trajectory beyond the page. 11 YEARS CONSOLIDATING A REFERENCE PUBLICATION This model is supported by a sustained editorial trajectory. For more than eleven years, Dodho Magazine has maintained a consistent and uninterrupted print publishing program, with thirty-five editions published and the participation of two hundred and ten photographers from twenty-eight countries across five continents. This continuity has allowed the magazine to establish a stable international presence, with thousands of printed copies in circulation and over twenty million digital readings and online views. Throughout this journey, Dodho has established itself as a long-term editorial platform, where each project is integrated into a broad and coherent context. The strength of this approach is reflected in a key figure: eighty percent of photographers who participate for the first time return for future collaborations, demonstrating a sustained professional relationship and reinforcing Dodho’s role as a stable and relevant publication within the contemporary photography ecosystem. A PROFESSIONAL CONTEXT FOR YOUR WORK From this foundation, participating in a Dodho Magazine call for entries goes far beyond the isolated act of being published. Each selected project becomes part of an edition that circulates through galleries, museums, festivals, and institutions dedicated to contemporary photography worldwide, extending its visibility over time. Dodho operates as an editorial and curatorial platform that places work within real professional contexts, where it is consulted by curators, editors, and cultural programmers. The continued presence of our editions in these spaces allows projects to maintain visibility aligned with contemporary photographic practice and to integrate into a long-term professional circuit. Prizes: Publication in Dodho Magazine #36 – Your work is featured in the print and digital edition with official credit – International distribution to curators, festival directors, galleries, and industry professionals. Eligibility: +18 Copyrights & Usage Rights: All submitted works remain the exclusive property of their authors. Dodho Magazine does not claim ownership of any image or project. Audubon Community Nature Center 2026 Nature Photography Contest Archív
23 Feb 2026

You can compete in three categories: - Close-ups: This category celebrates the beauty of the "small stuff" that often goes unnoticed. These photos will use macro photography and tight crops that reveal intricate textures, patterns, and colors. Whether it’s the dew on a spiderweb, the complex structure of a wildflower, or the iridescent scales on a butterfly’s wing, these images should bring the viewer face-to-face with the hidden wonders of the natural world. - Wildlife in Action: This category is all about movement, behavior, and the pulse of life. These photos will show animals doing what they do best: a hawk mid-strike, a deer leaping through the brush, pollinators in flight, or a fox at play. Successful entries will capture a fleeting moment in time that tells a story of survival, instinct, or interaction within the animal kingdom. - ACNC Outdoors: This category is dedicated specifically to the beauty found within the trails, wetlands, and forests of Audubon Community Nature Center. These photos will capture the unique spirit of ACNC’s local landscape throughout the seasons. From the iconic Blue Heron on the ponds to the sunlight filtering through the hemlocks, these images should highlight the specific natural treasures that make ACNC a vital community resource. Prizes: - Cash Prizes: $200 each for Adult and Youth winners in each of four categories: Close-ups, Wildlife in Action, ACNC Outdoors, and Community Choice. - Winners and Finalists will be displayed on the contest website. - Winners will be named in a news release that is widely distributed, including to their local media when known. - Winning judged photographs will be printed and exhibited in the Nature Center. Eligibility: This contest is open to photographers from around the world ages eight and older. Copyrights & Usage Rights: The photographer retains full copyright to their images. Participation in the contest gives Audubon Community Nature Center (ACNC) permission to use the photographs without compensation on the contest website as well as on other ACNC websites and in news releases, which may appear in print or on third party websites to publicize the contest, as well as other ACNC activities.
