A Leica 5x5 kiállításhoz kapcsolódó programban vetítéssel egybekötött kötetlen beszélgetésen ismerhetjük meg Sebestyén László munkáit, alkotói útját, karrierjének főbb állomásait, izgalmas történeteit. Várjuk önöket szeretettel! Beszélgetőtárs: Mucsy Szilvia fotográfus Sebestyén László – képszerkesztő, fotóriporter, a MÚOSZ Bálint György újságíró akadémia oktatója, 1998-ban a Nyitott Műterem galériában debütált fotóművészeti kiállításával, amelyben már akkor letette a voksát a fekete-fehér analóg dokumentarista stílus mellett. A program során megtekinthetőek lesznek a művészcsoport fotográfiái is.
A program belépőjeggyel látogatható. * * * A programváltoztatás jogát fenntartjuk!
A résztvevők száma maximum 35 fő.

Szeretettel meghívunk minden kedves érdeklődőt Gyenis Tibor előadására a főépület Közösségi Terében!
This year’s PhotoVogue Global Open Call celebrates the limitless ways women see and are seen—embracing photography and film as powerful tools to reclaim, redefine, and expand visual storytelling. The illusion of linear progress – the belief that rights, visibility, and recognition are irrevocable – has been shattered by the current political climate. Around the world, we are witnessing increasing pushback against women's autonomy, from reproductive rights to freedom of expression, reminding us that what once seemed secure can also be taken away. As these rights are contested, it becomes more urgent than ever to not only consider how women see but how they continue to carve out spaces for their perspectives. In a world where their ability to shape narratives and define vision remains a battleground, representation is both an act of resistance and a tool for change. For generations, women have fought not only to reclaim how they are seen but to assert their right to see on their own terms. Photography and video have long been arenas where vision is not just about aesthetics but about power. This year's PhotoVogue Global Open Call is dedicated to Women by Women – a celebration of the myriad ways women represent themselves and each other through photography and video. Prizes: We are awarding a total of $12,000 in grants to three artists whose work challenges conventions and expands creative possibilities: $6,000 – Outstanding Vision Grant For an artist pushing creative boundaries. $4,000 – Vision Grant - For an artist with a compelling and unique perspective. $2,000 – Rising Voice Grant - For an emerging artist showing originality and promise. Assimilate them, Refine them, Slit them ‘Aesthetic objectification’ refers to the process by which humans view and interpret certain subjects through the lens of beauty. This process can apply to everything from natural scenery to everyday items, and it is shaped by each individual’s unique viewpoint. During the objectification process, people project their emotions and interpretations onto the subject, thereby assigning new meaning and value to it. Through the act of seeing anew, we also recognize the discrepancies between what we see and what we know. The world we inhabit is far from flat or simple. It is a multidimensional space where countless narratives intertwine. Thus, the relationship between seeing and knowing cannot be defined by a single point of view —it is fluid and constantly evolving. It is a state in which elements can be added or removed; in which what doesn’t belong can be carved away. During the process of such entanglement and deconstruction, new forms emerge—fresh, unexpected, and alive. This process ignites our imagination and invites new visions. It enables richer, more diverse experiences beyond the ordinary, expanding the boundaries of thought at the threshold between reality and ideal. As the realm of thinking itself widens, a platform emerges from which new creative ideas can spring forth. We invite you to depart from conventional discourse, delve into the essence of the image, and imagine anew—through your own singular gaze.
