Gróf Széchenyi Zsigmond vadász-író fényképei – Dr. Korsós Zoltán tárlatvezetése https://capacenter.hu/esemenyek/grof-szechenyi-zsigmond-vadasz-iro-fenykepei-dr-korsos-zoltan-tarlatvezetese/ 2021. november 11-én, csütörtökön, 17 órától Dr. Korsós Zoltán zoológus, az Állatorvostudományi Egyetem docense, a Magyar Természettudományi Múzeum korábbi főigazgatója tart tárlatvezetést a Gróf Széchenyi Zsigmond vadász-író fényképei című kiállításon. A vezetés mellett saját fényképeit vetíti arról a kenyai emlékexpedícióról, amelyet Széchenyi születésének 100.

A Nők a kamera mögött című januárig tartó programsorozatunkon a női alkotói munkát és a női alkotással kapcsolatban felmerülő kérdéseket járjuk körül meghívott vendégeink segítségével. Regisztrálni a programra a maimano@maimano.hu e-mail címen lehet, a tárgy rovatba kérjük beírni: Tárlatvezetés – november 11. A tárlatvezetésen a látogatók a kiállításra szóló belépőjeggyel vehetnek részt. A megszokott kedvezmények ezúttal is érvényesek. https://www.maimano.hu/programok/kiallitas-margaret-watkins-fekete-feny https://www.facebook.com/events/1289456048160511/

Small Architecture - Photo contest Archív
10 Nov 2021

"It’s the large, iconic buildings that usually steal the headlines and help define cities, but there’s beauty and skill aplenty in well designed small buildings and spaces. For the photographer they can provide a more intimate shooting experience, perhaps with less public to contend with, and shooting smaller interiors may require lenses at the wider end of the spectrum. Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins. Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day. Entries close: 30 November 2021 Rating: 30 November 2021 to 9 December 2021 Winners announced: 9 December 2021 For a more detailed explanation of how rating works, see our FAQs " Forrás

Urban Waterways - Photo contest Archív
08 Nov 2021

" At their best, urban waterways provide a welcome, natural respite from the endless bricks, concrete and glass of our towns and cities. Tree-lined arteries to stroll along, escape the noise, and spot some waterbirds. At their worst they have been built over, and only make occasional appearances, often to be decorated with a shopping trolley and other refuse. Urban waterways can offer grand photographic opportunities, as well as smaller studies of the life of a river, and how we currently choose to interact with them. Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins. Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. Composition - Leading Lines - Photo contest Archív
08 Nov 2021

" Another compositional aid, and theory, for our exploration in this contest. Leading lines will be familiar to most - features in an image that lead the eye from one part of it to another, most often from the foreground to the background, and sometimes converging on the same point. They can help bring the foreground and background together, a pleasing link, as well as being interesting forms in themselves. Landscapes offer leading lines in the forms of rivers, walls and roads. In the urban setting they can be any form of human-made construction, a road or the edges or features of a building for example. This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd. You will be able to find out how you did when the judging or rating period has closed. Entries close: 25 March 2022 Judging: 25 March 2022 to 1 April 2022 Winners announced: 1 April 2022 " Forrás

(The image titled A Little Cottage in the Rain by Maria Martínez would have this file name: Martinez_LittleCottage.jpg; the third untitled image by Huan Lee: Lee_Untitled_3.jpg; the second photograph of the series "Surface" by Lena Petrovich: Petrovich_Surface_2.jpg) In the body of your submission e-mail please include a) your name; b) your city and country (with state abbreviation if USA); c) your website address (if you have one); d) titles of all included photos with the corresponding file names (in case of a series, please number the photos of the series, and indicate the title of the series, if it has one); e) the actual or desired print size (in centimetres or inches) of each photograph. All photographers 18 years or older worldwide may enter the competition by submitting their own, original work. PH21 Gallery welcomes submissions from, and exhibits work of emerging and established photographers as well. Photographs entered to this call do not have to be editioned. If accepted to the exhibition, it still remains the choice of the photographer to edition the images (e.g.: "ed. 10") or to leave the work uneditioned ("open ed."). Photographs entered to the call do not have to be for sale. By entering, entrants automatically accept the conditions of the competition; they grant PH21 Gallery nonexclusive right to use and reproduce submitted photographs (with the name of the photographer and the title of the work indicated) for promotional (e.g.: website and social media pages of the Gallery, catalogue) and exhibition purposes. No royalties or compensation will be paid for these purposes. All copyrights and ownership of the works are retained by the photographer. Entrants assume and accept all legal and financial responsibility for any infringement on the privacy rights or copyright of others, caused by creating or presenting their work in public. PH21 Galley retains the right to exclude from the competition entries that violate the conditions of the competition and ones that violate any human or privacy rights. The winner selected for the solo exhibition will be asked to provide high-resolution (300 ppi) TIFF (or JPEG) files for us to have the photographs of the exhibition printed. As mentioned above, PH21 Gallery will cover all printing and installation costs for the winner of the solo exhibition. The photographers selected for the Photographic Visions exhibition will also be asked for high-resolution files (of the selected 3 photographs), and they will need to contribute to the printing and installation costs. (The photographers may also opt for shipping their own exhibit-ready prints.) Exhibition prints will be kept on file for a year for future promotion unless the photographer prefers some other arrangement. In case of a sale inquiry the photographer will be promptly contacted. PH21 Gallery commission is 25%. (Submitted photographs, however, do not have to be for sale; exhibition prints will never be sold, they are for exhibition and promotion purposes only.) PH21 Gallery archives all photography exhibitions electronically, allowing us to promote our exhibiting photographers to curators, collectors as well as the viewing public. Our website also functions as a virtual gallery site, and all photographs included in our exhibitions are published on the dedicated page of the exhibition.
