What scenes of human hardship, distress and difficult lives have you photographed with your camera? Often the most challenging imagery to shoot, the power of the camera has lost none of its potency in drawing our attention to lives less fortunate than our own. This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd. You will be able to find out how you did when the judging or rating period has closed. Many hands have their say in the profile of a town or city’s skyline. Buildings built over many years each add their own element to the view across the rooftops, and that profile can often be extremely distinctive, especially when a signature building or tower is present. Who would have difficulty identifying Paris with the Eiffel Tower on display, or New York with the Empire State Building? But urban skylines of ALL shapes and sizes are invited in this contest. This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd. Another great theme for anyone wanting to head out with their camera, eagle-eyed, to explore their local environs and see what interesting images they can harvest. Architectural imagery is likely, and indeed the built, urban environment more generally is going to yield a lot of parallel lines. But look everywhere, and on different scales. Many smaller man-made objects incorporate parallel lines in their construction and decoration, and there will be parallel lines on display in nature too. This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd. You will be able to find out how you did when the judging or rating period has closed. How have you embodied peace and calm in your imagery? A serene landscape that soothes the viewer, or a milky, flat seascape with drifting cloud and a wandering gull? Or maybe a portrait of someone in quiet reflection, finding a moment to tap into the ever present stillness that can be found even amongst chaos. All interpretations of the theme are welcomed. Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins. Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day. "A 19. adás vendége a csodálatos Martin Wanda, akit én nemes egyszerűséggel a kortárs magyar fotó Annie Leibovitz-ának hívok.
Sok szeretettel invitáljuk Kondor Krisztián: Lonely in Japan című kiállításának alkotói tárlatvezetésére, melyen a fotográfus mesél munkájáról. A kiállítás a Japán Alapítvány tárlata a Budapest FotóFesztivál programsorozatában.
(Mallarmé: Le livre, instrument spirituel) A tárlatvezetés alkalmával K. Horváth Zsolt társadalomtörénész újabb szempontból értelmezi Gerhes Gábor kiállítását: "A vágy, hogy tudásunkat megpróbáljuk összegezni, s valamilyen értelmesen elrendezett formaelvet követve egyetlen könyvben rögzítsük, igencsak régi keletű. Mi lehetne vonzóbb a lehetetlen megkísértésénél?" /K. Belépőjegy, mellyel a Kiscelli Múzeum időszaki és állandó kiállításai is látogathatók: Teljes árú: 2400 Ft Diák, nyugdíjas: 1600 Ft Azok részére, akiknek ingyenes látogatásra feljogosító kártyájuk van, a tárlatvezetésen való részvétel díja: 800 Ft A kiállításról bővebben: https://fovarosikeptar.hu/gerhes-gabor-atlas/ #fovarosikeptar #afovaroskeptara #kiscellimuzeum #budapestitortenetimuzeum #afovarosmuzeuma #GerhesGabor #RokaEniko #MucsiEmese #ToporTunde #WinklerNora #KHorvathZsolt #muzeum #wunderkammer #archivum #konyvtar #konyv #konyvespolc #kepzelet #atlasz https://www.facebook.com/events/533764044815497/
