Short description The competition is promoted by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, and hosted on Photocrowd.com. “ The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Environmental Photography Award was launched in 2021, in honour of the Foundation’s 15th anniversary. This annual award was created with the aim to reward photographers who put their creativity to good use in raising awareness on environmental protection. Photographers will be invited to reflect on our relationship towards nature and interrelation between human health and planetary health. With this Award, the IWMF celebrates the courageous work of women photojournalists like Anja. A Dr. Kovács Pál Könyvtár és Közösségi Tér FOTÓPÁLYÁZATOT hirdet „Az én Győröm – az én közösségem” címmel győri polgárok részére. Célunk, hogy bemutassuk a mai fiataloknak, hogy milyen volt szüleik, nagyszüleik városa, hogyan fejlődtek a városrészek, amelyekben élünk. Nyissuk ki a család fotóalbumát, keresgéljünk a régi fotográfiák között! A kép ábrázolhat egy utcafrontot, folyópartot, játszóteret, bármit, ami Győrben, Győrről, győri életképként, illetve ilyen környezetben készült családi vagy rendezvényfotókat. A kiállítás szervesen kapcsolódik a Magyar Kultúra magazin új rovatához, a Divatlexikonhoz, ahol Zoób Kati hónapról hónapra egy-egy témakörhöz kapcsolódva osztja meg a gondolatait divatról és kultúráról. "Vértes György 1977-től alkot. Volt fotóriporter, képszerkesztő és dolgozott az angol EMI-nál, mint retro-music marketing menedzser. A Hungarotonnál a Mambo Records "retró" kiadványt szerkesztette, amely olyan albumok kiadását tűzte ki célul, melyek addig nem jelentek meg sem vinylen, sem korongon. Pályája során közel 60 lemezborítója jelent meg: V' Moto-Rock, P. Mobil, Komár, Bill, Csepregi Éva, Tátrai Band, P.Box. Kiállításán hazai és nemzetközi előadókat bemutató fotók is láthatók. A világunk csodálatos! – gyere nézd meg, mennyire! Elképesztő: 170 országból, több mint 606 ezer pályamű érkezett a CEWE Photo Award nemzetközi fotópályázatra, ezzel ismét a mi versenyünk lett a világon a legnagyobb! „A csodálatos világunk” mottó annyi mindenkit ihletett meg, hogy rekordot döntöttünk a nevezések számát illetően, amire nagyon büszkék vagyunk! Gyere, ünnepeld velünk a világ szépségeit egy vándorkiállítás keretén belül, nézd meg magyar győzteseink mellett a pályázat kategóriagyőzteseinek szenzációs fotóit Budapest és Győr után most Székesfehérváron. Közülük került ki a végső befutó, Manfred Voss, akinek fényképe láttán lehet, hogy még a hideg is végigfut a hátadon! „Nagyszerű érzés, szinte hihetetlen, hogy végül megnyertem a világ legnagyobb fotópályázatát!” – lelkendezett a Balti-tenger partján élő fotós, aki a Tájkép kategória győztese is lett egyben. Választása azért esett erre a fotóra, mert saját bevallása szerint megfogta őt a mulandóság és az azzal járó egyediség. "Filter Photo is pleased to announce Context 2022, our annual spring open call for photography-based work. Juror Frances Jakubek, Director of Bruce Silverstein Gallery, will consider all types of lens-based work for this annual survey exhibition of contemporary photography. This open theme allows for the widest understanding of current photography practices. Context 2022 will open April 1st at Filter Space and will remain open through April 30th. Frances Jakubek is an image maker, independent curator and advocate for photography. She is the Director of Bruce Silverstein Gallery in New York City, co-founder of A Yellow Rose Project, and past Associate Curator of the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, Massachusetts. "Young Portfolio is a program organized by the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts (K*MoPA) to support young photographers from around the world by exhibiting and acquiring their works for our permanent collection. Anybody under the age of 35 is welcome to submit their works. We are looking for works by devoted photographers who are passionate about their creative efforts. It is not a contest in which people are only eligible to win a prize once. Multiple submissions may be made up until the age of 35. The museum aims to motivate young talents from across the world, to give them exposure and help kick-start their careers. Selection will be carried out by a selection committee appointed by the Museum. The 2022 selection committee members are Selection Committee for 2022: Antoine d'Agata, Rika Noguchi, and Masato Seto (Deputy Director of the Museum). 1) Preliminary screening: Application by submitting image data January 10, 2022 to February 10 (data must be received by February 10) 2) Final screening: For those selected in the preliminary screening only. "Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory has opened a new science center, DNA Learning Center NYC, on the campus of the New York City College of Technology in Downtown Brooklyn. Biology lab experiences offered at the center help students and the public see themselves as scientists. "What DNA Says About Our Past and Future", a permanent museum exhibition under development, will present a hopeful message of genetics in our lives. The DNA of any two people is 99.9% identical; racial and ethnic differences acquired as we peopled the globe are, indeed, only “skin deep.” A gallery within the exhibition—All the World in New York City—will feature photographs of the many races, cultures, and ethnicities represented by the people living today in New York, America’s traditional immigrant city. All of these people are closely related by their common DNA past. "The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is now opening a new gallery in March 2022 and is hosting the Internernationl open call for photographers. The Glasgow Gallery of photography is hosting an open call for all Photographers of all genres and categories of photography. The international open call will be a 10 day photography exhibition, After 2 years of the creative industries struggling through a pandemic, with galleries closed and practitioners struggling to showcase their work, this exhibitions will bring your work to a new public audience in a professional gallery setting. The Exhibition will take place at the Second half of March. (Exact date tbc) Prizes: Once you have submitted your work it will be selected by our gallery curator and exhibitions co-ordinator, your work will then be sent to a reputable local printer and your work will be printed on Fujifilm photographic paper to a very high standard. We will then frame and hang our work in our new black gallery frames acquired from a well respected local frame maker, the work will then be curated and hung in the gallery for a period of 10 days where it will be viewed by members of the public, photographers, artists, curators, journalists etc. The work will also then be displayed on the website and sent to our mailing list of over 1000 people, it will also be shared to thousands of people on social media. " Chromatic Awards is an international competition of color photography open to both professionals and amateurs. "The connection of Black and White Photography with tradition and timeless values is beyond contestation. Since its infancy, black and white photography was not only the craft but primarily the art, where ideas conjured in the artist’s imagination is immortalized through the lens of their camera. Over a dozen categories allow entrants to specify definitions of photographic specializations and their large diversity allows adequate representation of photographers in several key areas. As a pillar and cradle of photography, Black and White photography is evidently a product of a great tradition. It requires experience, ability to discern dependencies and subtleties of tone, and most of all, imagination. Our mission is to search for talent while promoting photographers, both professionals and amateurs alike, to present their work among the best monochrome photographers on earth. In addition to the financial rewards, our winners also get full support in the area of promotion and furthering down one’s career path. "Minden OA tag korlátlan számú képpel nevezhet a versenyre. A nevezett fotók/képek leírásában a készítésének körülményeit és/vagy indíttatását kérjük megadni. A versenyre nevezni normál feltöltéssel lehet, a feltöltés során megjelölve kiválasztással, hogy az adott képet nevezed az Országalbum Maraton 2022 versenyre. Már feltöltött képeket is lehet nevezni, de kizárólag olyanokat, melyeket más Országalbum versenyre nem neveztél. Hagyományos fotó kategóriák A kategóriákat a normál feltöltés szerint jelöld be. Amennyiben a fotó külföldön készült (Magyarország határain kívül), akkor a Külföld kategóriát be kell jelölnöd. Ha a külföldi képnek magyar vonatkozása is van, akkor a Határon túl kategóriát is jelöld be. A hagyományos kategóriákba nevezett képek esetén minden forduló/hónap végén díjazunk az adott hónapban nevezett képekből ötöt, valamint opcionálisan további képek is kiválasztásra kerülhetnek (250 pontot kapnak az ilyen képek). A 1. helyezett 9.470 Ft értékű fél éves OA Pro előfizetést fog kapni (ha meglévő tagsága van, akkor meghosszabbítjuk), valamint a nyertes kép 500 pontot. A 2. helyezett 9.470 Ft értékű fél éves OA Pro előfizetést nyer (ha meglévő tagsága van, akkor meghosszabbítjuk) és 400 ponttal jutalmazzuk. A 3. helyezett szintén 9.470 Ft értékű fél éves OA Pro előfizetést nyer (ha meglévő tagsága van, akkor meghosszabbítjuk) és 300 ponttal jutalmazzuk. A 4-5. helyezetteknek 7.000 Ft értékű három hónapos OA Pro előfizetést és 250 pontot ajándékozunk (ha meglévő tagsága van, akkor meghosszabbítjuk). Grafika kategória Grafika kategóriába a nevezés az alábbiak alapján történik: A "normál" képszerkesztő használat (színszűrők, korrekciók) nem számítanak fotógrafikának, az ilyen képeket a normál kategóriákba nevezzed. A Grafika kategóriába bármilyen képszerkesztő alkalmazással készült fotógrafikát vagy digitális festményt nevezhetsz. A feltöltéskor a normál kategóriák mellett jelöld be a Grafika kategóriát is. Ha oaPIX-szel készült képet töltesz fel, akkor ezeken felül az oaPIX kategóriát is jelöld be. Amennyiben a kép az általános feltöltési feltételek alapján nem lenne feltölthető az Országalbumra, akkor az Egyéb kategóriát is be kell jelölnöd. A grafika fotóból készülhet, absztrakt alkotásokat nem nevezhetsz. A kiindulási alap vagy saját fotó legyen, vagy CC0 (közkincs) licensszel rendelkező kép. Ha más - CC egyéb - licensszel rendelkező képet használsz fel, akkor a leírásban hivatkoznod kell az eredeti képre/készítőre a licensz szerint. A leírásban meg kell adnod, mi a képszerkesztő alkalmazás neve, amit használtál, és lehetőleg azt is írd le, milyen effektet/beállítást használtál. A Grafika kategóriába nevezett képek közül minden hónapban kiválasztunk egyet, melynek készítője 9.470 Ft értékű fél éves OA Pro előfizetést fog kapni (ha meglévő tagsága van, akkor meghosszabbítjuk), valamint a nyertes kép 500 pontot. További elismert (különdíjas) képeket ebben a kategóriában is választhatunk, melyek 250 pontot kapnak. Finálé A verseny végén (2023. január-február) zsűri fogja kiértékelni a képeket. A havi fordulók elismert képeiből kerülhetnek ki a verseny végső nyertes képei. A hagyományos kategóriák fődíjasa, illetve a második helyezettje értékes tárgynyereményt kap.
