True to the WWC tradition of presenting cultural aspects of wild nature as part of the solution to the conservation dilemma, these monthly newsletters will update you on the cultural program as well as the science, technical and policy programs. The 8th WWC has many different aspects of this subject under the symposium, "Culture and Conservation - Arts, Media and Advocacy." For example, for the first time as part of a major international environmental forum, a special working session will convene on CONSERVATION PHOTOGRAPHY from the 29 September to October 6, 2005. Due to numerous requests to extend the discount registration period - to allow overseas delegates to transfer funds, receive permissions from supervisors, etc - the 10% early discount registration period will be extended a final time, until 1 April 2005.
